Rangers have confirmed that Tom Lawrence has left the club amid links with Championship new boys Wrexham.

Scottish giants Rangers have announced that Lawrence is one of many players who will leave the club this summer. The 31-year-old midfielder has been linked with a Wrexham move, and now that he is a free agent, that path is open to him.

Wrexham have gone from the National League to the Championship in just three years, and now they are looking to go one better and reach the Premier League. Former Wales international Lawrence has that Welsh connection but it remains to be seen if the Red Dragons will move for the 31-year-old.
