On Thursday, former Sheffield United manager Warnock paid City's training ground a visit, where he enjoyed a "great day" with the team and Guardiola. After hailing him as the best manager in his lifetime, fans quipped that the 76-year-old could replace the Spaniard at the Etihad when his contract ends in 2027.
